The flexible sleeve adjusts to your tampon's size and shape. Use the plunger to place it, then remove both parts.

Use your applicator again after cleaning and drying it completely. TAMPiNO is recyclable.

How to use your TAMPiNO
Prepare the tampon, place it, then clean the applicator. Start with the overview here. The step-by-step instructions show every action in detail.
Prepare
Choose an absorbency for your flow. Put the tampon in the flexible sleeve (Spiralgleiter) and its string in the guiding notch.
Place
Guide the sleeve in gently. Place the tampon with the plunger, then remove both applicator parts completely.
Clean
Clean the sleeve and plunger after use. Let both parts dry completely before replacing the cap.

Adjust the flap to the tampon size.
The flap adjusts the opening to suit the tampon size: fold it in for Mini and Normal, out for Super and Super Plus. Place the tampon string in the guiding notch.

The plunger is in place and the tampon tip protrudes slightly from the flexible sleeve (Spiralgleiter). After placement, remove the sleeve and plunger completely. The tampon remains in the vagina and its string stays accessible.

Store TAMPiNO clean and completely dry with its cap on. The optional TAMPiCASE has room for spare tampons too. The case and tampons are sold separately.

A Swiss idea
Hoi, we are Uschi and André.
We first had the idea for TAMPiNO while on holiday in the Allgäu. One sketch led to many prototypes and, eventually, an applicator with a flexible sleeve (Spiralgleiter).
After three years of development and two rounds of testing with users, we now make TAMPiNO ourselves in Switzerland. Read our story to see how the idea became a product.

What is TAMPiNO?
TAMPiNO is a reusable tampon applicator. Load a fresh tampon into the flexible sleeve (Spiralgleiter) and use the plunger to place it. Then remove both applicator parts completely.
What is included with TAMPiNO?
You get the flexible sleeve (Spiralgleiter), plunger and cap in your chosen colour, plus two organic cotton tampons to try: one Mini and one Normal. TAMPiCASE and the pack of 100 tampons are sold separately.
Which tampon size should I choose?
Choose the lowest absorbency that works for your flow. TAMPiNO is designed for Mini, Normal, Super and Super Plus. The flap sits inside for Mini and Normal, and outside for Super and Super Plus. The tampon’s shape can matter too.
Does TAMPiNO stay inside my body?
No. Remove the flexible sleeve (Spiralgleiter) and plunger completely after placing the tampon. The tampon remains in the vagina and its string stays accessible.
Is the tampon itself reusable?
No. Each tampon is for one use only. Remove it when you change and use a fresh one. You can reuse your TAMPiNO after cleaning and drying its parts completely.
What if inserting it does not work?
If insertion does not work at first, another position or a gentle angle towards your back may help. The step-by-step instructions show how to prepare the tampon. If it hurts or you feel resistance, stop rather than forcing it. If pain continues or you still cannot insert a tampon, speak with a healthcare professional.
